Logo Design
Here are a few recent logos that we've created.
2005 CIS Women's Field Hockey Championship
UBC hosted the Canadian Interuniversity Sport Field Hockey Championships. The logo for the event needed to work for a variety of applications: online, newspaper ads, posters, and t-shirts. Latham Communications worked with the team at UBC to develop their ideas.
Micheline | Roll Your Body
Micheline needed a logo that was fresh. She's very upbeat and chooses to live in Vancouver because of its natural beauty. We chose the rolling M in the logo because it's representative of the mountains, while the colours are vibrant and convey a feeling of activity and peacefulness.
Star Soccer
Star Soccer had a logo when we started working with them. Their old logo didn't scale down very well, the type was too small compared to the graphics. We created a new logo, based on the feel of the old logo that works at any size and is easily reversible for t-shirts and other forms of screen printing.
Urban Leather
We revamped Urban Leather's logo a few years ago. Taking the chair as the main element from their old logo, we created a classic look for Urban Leather that has helped grow their brand dramatically. Their logo works on a number of different applications including furniture tags, which was a must have.
Outside the Box Design
Jane, at Outside the Box Design, had already created her logo when we started working with her. Unfortunately, the logo wasn't built as a vector file, which means that it would become pixelated when scaled up or down. We rebuilt her logo as a vector file and then moved on to building her website.
